Environmental Impact Statements

For larger projects that require the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Evans Associates work as part of the project team that includes among others engineers, planners, ground water hydrologists, cultural resources experts and land use attorneys.  Evans Associates is typically responsible for preparation of the natural resources, wetlands and soils sections of the DEIS document.  Evans Associates staff are also very experienced in responding to public comments that are received as part of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) process.

In addition to creating these detailed designs, Evans Associates staff are trained and have the experience to explain and interpret these assessments to both regulatory bodies and to the public, skills that are essential in moving large projects forward. This expert testimony capability is a strength of Evans Associates.
